Chapter Level
Special Recognition Awards for Chapter Members
The State Board has created recognition awards, which they will be giving out at the
state conference, but your current Sussex-Warren board feels that we should adopt these awards
on a chapter level and we ask for your input.
We would like you as a valued member of our chapter to have a voice in these awards. If you feel
anyone in our chapter meets the criteria below, please submit your nomination and why you feel
they deserve the award to our Chapter President (see Officers
and Chairs). Submissions would normally need to be to us by the beginning of April
each year so watch for our announcements.
Noteable Newcomer
This new member jumped right into committee work from the get-go. She joined NJAWBO and got involved
right away - no questions asked, without hesitation -- and has proven herself to be a consummate
team player and a tremendous help with myriad tasks and projects on the chapter and/or state
level.
Beacon Of Light
This member is a true inspiration to everyone around her. She shines with a luminous
spirit and lifts up her sister NJAWBO members. This member sets a glowing example of volunteerism
and embodies what NJAWBO is all about, being a source of business referrals, support and advice
simply because she is asked. She is someone people enjoy being around and brings light and life
to her chapter.
TrailBlazer
This member is someone who has built on everything that came before, and has re-created her position
and forged new paths beyond her appointed responsibilities. She has taken her elected or appointed
position steps further than previously imagined, raising the bar of excellence to new heights.
Before her lies a new horizon for her committee and her successor to travel on, and her vision
and action leave an indelible mark on the organization.
Honor your fellow members with recognition of their service.
