What do I need on my website

Topic 1: It Starts with a Plan I will explain the basic principles of designing a web site that includes all of the elements necessary to plan and build a web site to achieve your online goals. Just like when building a house, the finished home you will live in will be more comfortable, efficient and much more of a sound structure if you start with the proper blueprint. Working with a knowledgeable architect increases your chances that the builder will know what to do with their hammers and nails. And you won’t be worried that your house will blow down at the first gust of wind. The importance of good planning cannot be overstated.

Topic 2: Is Your Web Site Working for You? Users are active participants in your web site experience, not a passive onlooker. Their experience should pull them in and motivate them to action. They need to do something - learn, give information, buy or tell others about your products or services - in order for your web site to succeed. I will explain how to promote your web site with proven internet marketing tips, tools and techniques to increase your web site traffic.
Presenter: Loann Simon, Web Site Designer / Optimizer
